THE PRECEPTS - Topic: CORRECT POSITIONING
Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 20:14-17.
Many times children of God lost battles because they failed to recognized what is there own duty in winning warfare in life. They approach issues of life from their our own point of view and not from God's point of view. They use their strategy and abandoned divine strategy that is based on divine instructions.
Jehoshaphat was to fight against combinations of armies, out of which three nations were mentioned, Children of Moab, Ammon, and the Ammonites. They were so many, too much and too strong for Jehoshaphat to confron, but when he was confused on what to do, he knew where to go. He went to the house of God to pray, and God answered their prayers by sending His Spirit on Jahaziel in vs. 14, and Jahaziel prophesied and showed them the key to get victory in the battle. What was the thing that God asked Jehoshaphat to do? God told them not to be afraid of the great army coming against them. They will have victory in the battle, they will not even need to fight in the battle, all God want them to do was to take correct positioning in vs.17.
"Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: SET YOURSELF (Position yourself), stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you"
This is what God expected us to do to have victory in battle, don't panic, never struggle, but all you need to do is SET YOURSELF, (TAKE YOUR POSITION), and you will see how God will fight your battles and get you victory. Jehoshaphat and Judea took thier own position by worshipping the Lord, and as they were sing God moved against thier enemies.
Is not every battle you should fight directly by binding and loosing, all it takes is you to take your position. May be in praising the Lord, may be in stand on the word of God in faith, may be in changing your confessions, may be in bringing up a positive attitude to life and situations, may be in starting a project in faith first, may be in starting a saving plan, may be in adjusting your relationship with your spouse, may be in becoming a responsibile church member first etc. Is not every battle you win by fighting directly against the problem, all it takes you, is to take your positions correctly. There is something you need to do for a miracle to take place in your life. There is a step to take for the supernatural to happen in your case. I decree that victory is yours in Jesus name.
Prayer Points: What you need to do, things you have to adjust, the position you need to take to have victory in your present battle, pray that the Spirit of the Lord will show you.
