Topic: FAITH IS NOT DENYING THE FACTS .
Bible Reading: Roman 4:17-22 .
You have heard people when speaking saying words like my enemy is sick, my enemy is broke, they say my enemy will die. Such people are trying to speak faith without understanding it. You don't work faith by becoming enemy conscious rather become God's conscious, though you didn't deny the existence of the enemy, but you believe your God is more powerful than the enemy.
Faith is not deny the fact, instead faith is holding to the truth against the fact. There will always be facts on every matter, finance, marriage, health etc. If you have an headache for example, you don't deny what you feel, you feel your head is aching you but you believe by the stripes of Jesus you were healed. Fact is the stand of men on a matter, be it scientific, medical, biological, economical or any other, whatever man through their special training says is a fact, but what God says on a matter is the truth. Truth is where God is standing on every matter. John 17:17 says; Sanctify them by your truth, your word is the truth.
So in anything you face, you may not deny the fact but look into the word of God and pick on his promises for you then confront that thing by holding to the truth of God with confessions in your mouth against the fact. And the fact must give way for the truth to reign, because the scripture cannot be broken but it can break anything that confront it.
Abraham did not deny the deadness of his body, nor deny the deadness of the womb of Sarah at 90 years to carry pregnancy, but he didn't allow the fact to hinder him from receiving his miracle, he held on the truth of God's promises to defeat the fact. I don't know what you are going through now, I do not deny the fact of what the doctor or specialist has said over the matter, but I am to tell you that the truth of God's promise shall prevailed over your life in Jesus name.
Prayer Point: Pray that the spirit of faith will baptized you, to believe the truth of God over the facts in your life in Jesus name.
