Topic: UNDERSTANDING LIFE
Bible Reading: Genesis 6:5-7, Romans 12:1-2.
Many people struggle with things in life because they don't understand the process that make things work in life, that nothing will manifest in your life, until it is first registered in your heart. The scripture in Genesis chapter 6 said when God looked down, he decided to wipe out creation from the earth, because of the evil in the earth was too much and kept increasing daily. But the question is that can't God cleans the evil on the earth? He can't, because He handed over the earth to man after creation, and He can't do anything on the earth except with man permission.
And man permit things on the earth by what they allowed to enter their heart. And God said in Genesis that the imaginations of men is evil continually, so God decided to wipe men out because he can't stop the evil on the earth except that he changed what they think in their heart.
Therefore, it is important to know that nothing happens in your life either spiritually, financially, martially, physically etc, unless you first allow them to enter into your heart. Proverb 23:7a said “as he thinks in his earth so is he”. What you are today is a product of what you thought yesterday of your life, and what you will be tomorrow is a product of what you are thinking today, so if you want a better future, start thinking good of it from now, it doesn't matter where you are think good of your life, be positive in your thinking. Philippians 4:8.
But one thing that can help in proper thinking is to take the word of God more seriously. Whatever you want to see create the picture of it from what the word of God says. So instead of trying to struggle to stop sinning, let God's word give you the thought of holiness. All you need to do is start going through God's word, meditate on it and let it give you the thought of what you desire, apply this to everything in your life, practice this and your life will be better for it.
Prayer Point: Pray that the grace to take responsibility for the change of your thinking and your life through God's will rest on you.
