Bible Reading: Mark 5:22-36.
To believe means to rely, to relax, to agree that something positive will happen. Many Christians when dealing with issues, they are afraid of; what if things does not workout the way they want? Or what if I succeed but the success does not last? What if I start business and people refuse to do not with me? Many negative thoughts run through their mind and that has stopped many children of God from daring something great in life, because of fear of failure.
This was the situation with the man called Jairus who went to call Jesus to come heal his daughter who was terribly sick unto death. As Jesus was coming to attend to his request, a woman with the issue of blood hijacked a miracle on the way that delayed Jesus on the way, Jairus became afraid that the worst would happened to his daughter who laid sick at home before Jesus finish his rigmarole. While this thought was going on in his mind, someone came from his house to tell him not to trouble the master again, the worst has happened, your daughter is dead. It looks to this man like, yes I know it will happen, if master would have been hurried up, that would not have happened. But Jesus knowing what he was thinking stopped and said to him, "DO NOT BE AFRAID, ONLY BELIEVE".
This is a big lesson for us to learn from, that if Jesus would have been opportune to talk to you one on one, face to face, eye ball to eye ball, he will say the same thing to you concerning your vision, your marriage, your children, your business or whatever you are believing God for. He is saying to you, DO NOT BE AFRAID, ONLY BELIEVE. That is, you should not let your thinking about your life, to be negative, let it be only positive. It takes a little drop of negative thought to introduce fear to you, and fear will certainly damage any good thing in your life. Jesus is saying to you today, do not be afraid (do not negative in your think), only believe (only think positively). And you will have positive results in life. To always have positive thoughts you must constantly feeding on the word the word of God.
Prayer Points: Bind every negative thoughts and cast them down in Jesus name.
