THE PRECEPTS - Topic: STRATEGIES THAT WIN BATTLES
Bible Reading: Judges 1:1-5
The people of Isrealites were to take lands which were not taken by Joshua before his death, and they were wise enough to know that anything that will succeed, must have a strategy, and the greatest strategy to be employed is the one God is giving. So they prayed to the Lord to ask who to go up against the enemy first, and the Lord said Judah shall go up first, and Judah ask Semeon to go with him, and as the two engaged the enemy in battle Isrealites got the victory.
This is a great strategy that every child of God who dare to win in life must employ. In dealing with any issue of life always wait LET JUDAH GO FIRST and SEMEON TO GO WITH HIM. What is Judah? And what is Semeon? Judah means Praise, and Semeon means Hearing. Let these two go with you in dealing with issues of life, no matter the crisis, no matter how confuse you are, always let Judah go first (Praises first), then let Semeon follow him (Hearing/Sensitivity). Don't let murmuring, complain, grumbling, worrying etc. Don't ever let any of these go first in the battle of life, because you will certainly loose. Only let Judah(praise) go first. This was Jesus own strategy for winning, when he was by the side of the grave of Lazarus in John 11, he never complained, in verse 41 Jesus said Father I thank you...., and then miracle happened. When he was in the desert with thousands of crowd and he has to feed them, but the bread available was too too small compared to the crowd in John 6, Jesus didn't grumbled he took the bread in verse 11 and gave thanks, then the bread multiplied. Remember Paul and Silas in Acts 16:25-26 it was Judah first, then victory. Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20:22-23 it was Judah first, then victory.
If you can let Juda(Praise) go up first, then, hear what the Lord will direct you to do next, you shall win spiritually, maritally, financially, academically, and all areas of your life in Jesus name. You are the win team, go and win with Jesus.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will give garment of praise to worship, and revelation of the strategies that win always.
