Topic: DO NOT BE AFRAID
Bible Reading: Matthew 14:22-27.
The disciples of Jesus were in the boat on the sea going through a terrible storm right in the middle of the night, as this trouble was going on, suddenly they saw a being coming towards them walking on the sea and they became frightened and were thinking it was a ghost that was walking towards them, they thought the worst has happened. But suddenly, they hear the voice of the master saying to them, DO NOT BE AFRAID, IT IS I.
Many times we see situations of life going the direction in which we do not expect, things are turning negative, and we tends to think the worst is happening or going to happen. But in the midst of those situations, if you can listen to the voice of the master, what the what the master is saying to you is, "DO NOT BE AFRAID."
Whenever we are going through challenges of life, we do think we are the only one there in the midst of the challenges, but this is not true, God is with you there. The scripture said in Psalm 91:15; "I WILL BE WITH YOU IN TROUBLE and I will deliver you". In Isaiah 43:1-2, the Lord said fear not, I will be with you, when you are going through waters or passing through fire. It is the deception of Satan that makes you feel and think that you are there alone in the midst of the challenges, that no one cares for you, by that you will begin to loose your trust in God for help, you can finally give up, and end up as failure in life. But know today that no matter the situations or the challenges you are going through, the Lord saying to you, "don't be afraid, I am with you". God is not a lier, Jesus does not deceive, whatever he says, that is what he meant, HE IS WITH YOU. All it takes is that you put your trust in God, look to him for help, and He will make a way for you.
Once, you understand that Jesus is with you in the midst of the situation you are going through, then you must be rest assured that Jesus will turn things around to your favour. No matter the trouble you see outside your life today, let the knowing be inside you that Jesus is with you. The Lord is with you, and if he is with you, he shall make all things to workout to your favour in the name of Jesus name.
Prayer point: Pray that God will open your eyes to see God in the midst of your life, and always give you grace to carry the consciousness of His presence with you all the times in Jesus name.
