Topic: GETTING THINGS GOD HAS PREPARED FOR YOU.
Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 9:1-24.
We discussed yesterday on things God has prepared for us, though, they are not visible yet, not audible neither are they imaginable for mind yet, but they are there prepared by God and therefore you to claim and make your own physically. But you can't claim them, until you understand that there is a position you must take for those things to come to you.
From our passage read today, it was clear that God never told Saul directly to go to Samuel, but God organised for an assignment given to Saul to handle by his father, that is to look for the missing ass of his father. That was what they were looking for that orchestrated the need for Saul and the servant to go to Samuel, so he can helped them locate the place the asses were through prophetic gift. But when they got there and met with Samuel, then, they realised that a party has been organised for them, even, when they have never met the people before, yet God has gone ahead to prepare things for them. In vs 25 Samuel said to the cook who was in charge of the the party;
"And Samuel said unto the cook, Bring the portion which I gave thee, of which I said unto thee, SET IT BY THEE."
So the cook has prepared some meat and set them aside, for some unknown guest. Then in vs.26 THE cook brought a special part of the meat, which was set before Saul and his servant, and then, Samuel said to Saul, this was prepared for you before you come for the party.
Now, what would have happened to what God has prepared for Saul if he did not make the move to meet with Samuel, he would have missed the things God has prepared for him.
Therefore, there are steps you must take to connect to things God has prepared for you. There are people you must meet, there are places you must go. God may not tell you that directly, but as you become addictive to serving the Lord and walking with Him in your life, your steps will always go in the part of things God has prepared for you.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will give you grace to cooperate with God to love Him, walk and work for Him to enter into all things that God has prepared for you.
