DAILY PRECEPTS DEVOTIONAL STUDY
Topic: RECEIVE THE HOLY GHOST.
Bible Reading: Acts 19:1-6.
Paul in one of his missionary journey found certain disciples in Ephesus, these people are not new converts they are believers, despite that, Paul examined there lives, how they struggled to live righteous life, thier lives were empty of the reality of God's power, no manifestation of the miraculous is seen much in their experiences. Having seen all these Paul was moved to ask them if they ever have received the Holy Ghost? and they answered him, we have not even heard of anything like that. So Paul talked to them and prayed for them and they received the Holy Ghost and the bible said they spoke in tongues.
It is important to understand that the presence of the Holy Ghost in the live of a believer who desire to live a life pleasing to God, becomes successful life, and enjoy the manifestation of the miraculous power of God, the Holy Ghost is a must in your life.
Just as Jesus said to his disciples in Luke 24:49,
but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem UNTIL YE BE UNDEW WITH POWER from on high.
Until means it is a must, and if they did not receive the power from on high, then, they should not come out but to remain there. Therefore, I want to appeal to you as a believer or a disciple of Jesus, do not move on in life without the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Know that the baptism of the Holy Ghost is not for some denominational settings, it is a right of all true Christians. Get the baptism of the Holy Ghost and every area of your life will be touched for positive results. Ask the Lord to reveal this truth to you about the Holy Ghost, and be filled with him, and your Christian and entire life will change for good forever.
Prayer Points: Ask the Holy Spirit to come into your life and be filled with his power in your life in Jesus name.
