Topic: CONNECTING TO THE VOICE OF GOD.
Bible Reading: Isaiah 50:4-7.
The study of today is to supply understanding to us on how God trained us to connect to his voice on daily basis, why? Because connecting us to his voic is to be connected to his help for our lives, vs.7 says, FOR THE LORD GOD WILL HELP US THEREFORE I WILL NOT BE DISGRACED.
The way not to be disgraced is for God to send help to His own people. But one of the ways by which God get help to us is by connecting us to his voice. If Elijah cannot hear God, after the brook Cherit dried up, how will he link to the widow of Zarephat who fed him through out the time of famine, and if that does not happened he would have been disgraced.
God said to me sometimes ago, that our problem is not the problem but the real problem is that we don't know what to do to solve the problem. The main problem of many is learning how to connect to the voice of God to get solution God has provided to solve their problems. For every problem there is a solution, but that you were able to connect to God's voice to see God's provision is what determine what happen in the midst of problems of life. If there is anything you should seek for most in your life, is how to hear the voice of God.
The secret to that now is in vs 4.
"He awakens me morning by morning, He awakens me to hear."
If you will developed a life that is constantly connected to the voice of God, then you must understand the power of having solid and consistent fellowship with God, very early in the morning. Isaiah said He awakens me morning by morning, now is one thing to be awaken by God every morning for divine communication but it is another thing that you respond. So instead of waiting for Him to wake you up, then make it your own lifestyle to wake up in the morning wait for Him to come. That way you can regularly be connected to the voice of God for constant help.
Prayer Point: Pray that your ear be opened to hear God's voice, and recieve grace to take responsibility for early morning meeting to day.
