Topic: SPIRIT OF HOLINESS.
Bible Reading: Romans 1:4, 1 John 3:4-9.
Many times children of God after several years of salvation experience in their lives they live wrong life, which they don't understand. There experience is like what Apostle Paul said in Romans 7, the things I want to do I do not, but what I don't want to do, that is what I do.
They struggle with sin, until they become weary of it, some lost hope and concluded it is not possible to be holy. But if so, that would amount to wickedness on God's side, who told us to do what is impossible to do, He said we should be holy as He is holy. So to achieve that we continue to struggle within ourselves. No, it won't be possible that way, Apostle Paul said in me that is in my flesh dwell no good thing. That is why by yourself you will keep struggling to be holy, because you can't on your own.
But God has given us what it takes to be holy, that is the SPIRIT OF HOLINESS. That Spirit convict you of your sin when you do wrong, if you claim to be born again and you sinned but dont feel condemned within, check your salvation, and this more than just conciense, this is the Spirit of God. The Spirit that program you for God, and to become like God. As long as you depend on him he helped you out, but when you want to do it on your own you struggle with sin and fail eventually. This is the spirit that takes hold of you daily as you live to help you walk with God. The bible says the seed of God is in him, and HE CANNOT SIN. The seed of God is in you is the Spirit of God and become stronger to help you as you grow up in the word of God.
If you're genuinely born again, you will have the experience of what am discussing with you today, once you see that spirit functioning in you, as he corrects and instruct you, all you have to do is follow him. The more you follow the more you are changed into holiness, until you start becoming like God your Father, and end up like Him.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will help you to cooperate with spirit of holiness in you in Jesus name.
