Bible Reading: Genesis 1:1-4.
Have you been through the challenges of life, when it seems like things are not going the way you expected, everything seems to be going the wrong direction. It is not a big deal, that was how things had been from the beginning. Remember that God met the world empty and the darkness was on the face of the deep, but He didn't cried, nor murmur neither complain, what did he do. God started working on the world and he brought the light out of the darkness in Gen.1:1-2.
Don't forget He created man in His likeness and expected them to function like Him. But man messed things up in Adam through deception of Eve in the hand of Satan. But the good news is that Jesus has come to redeem us back to God, so you can function like God. Now when God saw the darkness in the beginning, He didn't pretended as if it is not, neither did He complained nor cried nor panic, rather He started working. What work did God do, it was a mouth work.
"And the LORD SAID LET THERE BE LIGHT, AND THERE WAS LIGHT" Gen.1:2.
If you were made to function like God, then rise up against your situation and do what God would have done. Speak to your situation, call forth your light out of the darkness, never forget you were called by Christ out of darkness into his marvelous light. He has done it before and He can do and He will do it again, don't panic, don't cry, don't murmur nor complain, you can bring your light out of the darkness of your life. Take God's word and get to work it on your life, practice it and put it in your mouth, declare it over your situation and circumstances, and you will see testimonies coming up for you in Jesus name. All it takes is your heart and mouth, just TURN ON THE LIGHT.
Prayer Points: Father, I declare that every areas of my life, where darkness seems prevalent, I command the light to take over, in the name of Jesus Christ.
