Topic: WHOSE REPORT SHALL YOU BELIEVE
Bible Reading: Numbers 13:26-33, 14:1-2.
At every point in time we will always have the choice of the report we believe, and the report you choose to believe will definitely affect the faith that you carry, and the faith you live with will determine your result in life. Here we see children of Isreal having to face this situation of chosen what to believe between the evil report of Ten or good report of Two of the spies. The Ten spies brought evil news of the land of promise, where in God told Moses to send them to go spy, but Caleb and Joshua brought good report, they are not the one who made the good news of the land to happen. The good news of the land of promise has been on ground, before all the twelve went to spy out the land, God has already made the land a good place for them, and told them of the good news of the land even before they were sent. So the good news that Caleb and Joshua brought was to bear witness to what God has has provided for them where He was taken them to. So, the children of Isrealites were wrong and have no excuse to have chosen to believe the evil report of the ten rather good report of the two who confirmed what God has told them about the land. Because, the report that ten brought was contrary to what God has told them about the land. And it would have been better for them to believe Joshua and Caleb because they have gone and come to bear witness that what God has promised them about the land was true. So, today as you go, whose report are you going to believe, is it good report from God's word and confirmed by saints of old and men of faith, or you will believe the evil report coming from the devil through men to you.
Prayer Point: May you receive grace that help you choose to believe God's report on your case rather than evil report coming from from men.
