Bible Reading: Isaiah 55:10-11, Lamentation 3:37.
I want to wish all my readers on this blog, HAPPY NEW YEAR AND PROSPEROUS 2017. Today, many words will be coming out concerning this new year, good words, prophetics words for this new year. Only be sure that what you are holding is not just a good wish from a man, but a genuine prophetic words from The Lord. Because, God is not committed to back up just a good wish from a man, though that is not bad, but it cannot be guaranteed to become anything in your life. But when a genuine prophetic words from God go forth, God is committed to see that what He says shall come to pass. The scripture said in Isaiah 55:10-11,
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
God is committed to His word when it comes out of the mouth of his servant. Lamentation 3:37 says, Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?
Therefore, as you lay hold on what God told you for 2017, be sure it is what God said and not just a man good wishes. How can you know that? Apostle Paul said you should know whom you are receiving God's word from. 2 Timothy 3:14. Is he a man called of God? Does he hear God's voice? Does he has a life to back it up? (Holiness). Then hold to that word and God is committed to bring that word to pass in your life this year. This year is not just a year of religion without understanding, not a year of business as usual, but a year you must meant business with your spiritual life, as far as God is concern let Him be the first, follow Him with great obedience. And I can assure you that as you play your role well in walking with God this year, you will definitely come out with positive result. You are welcome to 2017. Grace will join your race as you go and mercy will accompany you, in Jesus name.
