THE PRECEPTS - Topic: DIVINE TIMEOUT
Bible Reading: Numbers 14:20-24, Luke 13:6-9
Many times, children of God takes for granted things they should have done by God's instructions to them, they delay unnecessarily, and drag in yielding to God in obedience, they postponed what should have been done in time. They delay in yielding to call of God on their lives, or in correcting what God says is wrong in their lives, or refuse to release what God is asking for. The reason for this is simply because many children of God don't know that God takes time serious, He never joke with time, so to every of his instructions, there are time limit. We must all come to realized that, has kind and merciful as God is, he still have a time off. Which if you cross you may not return, or if you return, you may not return the same way. After children of Israelites have tempted God, and God came with judgement against them. Moses pleaded on their behalf, though God heard and forgave them, but He never deal with them same way. Vs.20-22. Because they have cross the God's time off. God said unto Moses they have tempted me this ten times.
Jesus gave a parable in Luke 13:6-9 Of a fig tree expected to bring forth fruits after 3 years, but instead it was wasting resources, they watch it, again with grace of 1 year more, but when the fig tree crosses Divine Time Off and yet did not bring out any fruit, then it was cut down.
In Rev.2:19-22 in the message to the church of Thyatira, Jesus said what I have against you is the Jezebel you allowed in your midst. Let her repent and all who sinned with her, within the time frame of repentance, if the time expired and she cross the divine time off, judgement will follow.
There is something expect of you from heaven per time, therefore, get ready and meet the divine schedule if you cross the divine time off, it will be terrible. God is merciful but don't take His mercy for granted, to obey is better. May the Lord help you to yield to His demand over life, no matter the price.
Prayer Point: Pray against the spirit of delay and postponed obedience in your life. And ask God to release on you grace to yield in time to every of His demand on your life. Prompt and timely obedience.
