THE PRECEPTS - Topic: IF YOU DON'T STOP THE DEVIL
Bible Reading: Acts 12:1-6, James 4:7.
There are times that people of God go through challenges of life, be it spiritual, marital, financial, career, health, emotional, etc. And they are of the opinion that the problems will go with time, they use to say, "what gonna be gonna be". But instead of things to change for better, it rather keep getting worse, why, because what gonna be no go be if you fail to ensure that it is done. Because the Devil your enemy who is the master of all crisis will not stop unless you stop him.
We see this Satanic pattern of dealing with people, manifesting in the way Herod the king handle the Apostles in Acts of the Apostle, the scripture revealed that Herod vex, trouble and persecuted the Church of Christ, so he got hold of James and killed him, and the Jews were happy seen James dying, when Herod saw that the people enjoyed it, and the disciples did nothing about it, he proceeded further against the Church, and took Peter also.
3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, HE PROCEEDED FURTHER to take Peter also.
And when the disciples realized that Herod will not stop, he has taken James and killed him, now he has proceeded to take Peter, and it will soon be the turn of anyone, then they left mourning of James and they got up and fight in prayers.
5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but PRAYER WAS MADE without ceasing OF THE CHURCH unto God for him.
Then heaven reacted, first, deliverance came, the Angel of the Lord released Peter from the prison of Herod. Secondly, judgement came against the enemy of the people of God, Herod was smitten by the Angel of the Lord and he died, and the direct result of this was that the work of the Apostles grew and multiplied. Vs.24.
I challenge you to take the fight against the Devil when you see his traces in your life. If you don't stop him from your health he will get on your finance, if you don't stop him in your finance he will proceed further to your marriage, if you don't stop him from your marriage, he wil proceed further to your children before you know it he has overwhelmed you on every side with crisis, that you will never have time to face and fulfill your destiny again, you will only keep using the rest of your life to solve problems. God wants you to have peace, don't excuses what Satan is doing against you now, rise up in faith and resist him and he shall flee away from you.
Prayer Points: Pray that God will open your eyes to see where the devil is hiding around your life, and resist him every activities of the Devil going on against your life. Command peace to be in your life Jesus name.
