THE PRECEPTS - Topic: JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST.
Bible Reading: Romans 8:17, Hebrew 9:15-17
Jesus Christ said in John 3:35, The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
So all that belong to God He gave to Jesus, and all that Jesus received from his father he gave to us as a "will" by his word. He gave his "will" unto us through the promises of his word, but for his "will" to take effect for us, he has to die. For by law a man can not have access to a property he inherited by "will" until the death of the owner of property (testator), who wrote the "will". So Christ has to die, first to pay for debt of our sins, and also to allow his "will" for us to become effective. And after his death we have right to his sonship by the "will" he gave to us, and we can claim by right everything that God has given to Jesus. So by that we became hiers of God and joint hiers with Christ. Romans 8:17.
Through the death of Jesus Christ I have right to all that Jesus has including his sonship right. By that we became the sons of God, these and more are the result of his death for us on the cross of Calvary. But the Holy Spirit want me to ask you this question, after all that Jesus Christ has done for you, what are you doing or going to do for Christ, so that his death will not be in vain in your life and that of the others.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will open your eyes to the mysteries behind the death and ressurection of Jesus Christ, so that his death and ressurection will not be in vain over your life, in Jesus name.
