THE PRECEPTS - Topic: LET HIS PRESENCE TAKE THE LEAD
Bible Reading: Exodus 33:12-17, Deteronomy 8:14-16.
Many times people of God pray and desire for the presence of God to go with them on thier journey. But they only desired so, because they know that with His presence they are secured, and not because they want to follow it. When the presence of God goes with you, it will always make a difference in your life and in all that you do. But you must be ready to follow His presence and not just to use it to rubber stamped your wills. For God's presence to go with you always, you must have the kind of heart that Moses had, by determine to let God's present take the lead in his life, so also we must in our lives. See Exodus 33, vs.15, from The Message Bible Version;
"Moses said, "If your presence doesn't TAKE THE LEAD here, call this trip off right now."
What a great heart Moses has for God, no wonder that God pitch His tent with him through out his life. He was secured from Pharaoh's threat, he works wonders in Egypt, and led Isrealites for Forthy years. The presence of God was permanently with him, because he allowed God's presence to take the lead in his endeavors. Make your own decision today to allow the presence of God to lead you in life. But it is important to understand that, it takes total trust in God, for you to follow His presence to lead. When Moses followed the leading of God's presence, it led him and Isreallites to the wilderness, led them through terrible wilderness, where there were fiery serpents and scorpions, where there was no water, but they followed it, and when they did, they saw the miracles and wonders of God in the midst of thier challenges. Therefore, be determined to allow the presence of God to take the lead in your life, even when His presence is leading you through roads that seems full of obstacles and challenges, expect that you will see the miracles of God, you can't fail in life, following God's divine presence. No matter your challenges, all shall turn to your testimony in Jesus name.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will give grace to recognize the voice of God, and grace to follow it all the times.
