Topic: GOD'S NONSENSE (GOD'S WISDOM)
Bible Reading: 1 Corinthians 1:18-29.
"For GOD'S NONSENSE is WISER than human wisdom and GOD'S WEAKNESS is STRONGER than human strength. Vs.25." (ISV)
God will always be God no matter how smart a man can be, the way He works are mysterious, He always works out something difficult in an easy way, and far above human imagination and calculations. God said to Abraham is anything to hard for Me to do? Not only that God can do all things but He does it in an easy way. More so He uses things that look stupid to men to do wise things, and small things to achieve great things.
To save the world, His son has to die, does that make sense to man. Pull the Great Wall of Jericho down, He commanded them to embark on match-parade. To separate the sea he said to Moses; stretch your rod, To open blind eyes he said go and wash. To punish the enemies he said blessed them when they cursed you. To sustain the widow in Sarephat in famine he said bring your last meal. This is why the scripture said by men by there wisdom can never know God. Because His ways are higher than that of a man, and the wisdom of God is foolishness unto man. For you to know God and experience His power in your life, you need to open yourself up to the wisdom of God, thus you will be connected to the power of God.
God always makes difficult things easy, and He uses something small to do something great. You must asked yourself, do you want to make sense to men, or you want to experience the power of God? To experience the power of God you must have faith in what looks like the nonsense of God to men, but is the wisdom of God, that is what connect those who believe to the power of God, so as to make manifest the glory of God in their lives. I pray for you, may the wisdom of God that brings answers to your problems be open to you this week in Jesus name.
Prayer Points: Pray that God will baptized you with the spirit of faith, opens you to the wisdom of God, which connects you to the power of God, so that you can manifest the glory of God.
