Topic: DEAL WITH THE DESTINY TERMINATORS.
Bible Reading: Acts 1:15-20, Galatians 5:16-21.
Peter was talking here of the prophetic destiny of Judas Iscariot, the disciple that betrayed Jesus into the hands of those who took him and nailed him on the cross, because of the reward of 30 silver coin.
After the man betrayed his master, he regretted what he has done, and committed suicide by hanging himself, that was the end of that man's destiny. But Peter prophetically helps us to understand that, that was not the plan of God for him, his destiny was greater than what we see.
In the divine plan of God for Judas, he has been destined to be an Apostle upon which he suppose to be one of the foundation of the Church, and his name supposed to be inscribed on one of the 12 gates of new Jerusalem in heaven, but all these, the man lost.
Here what Peter said in Acts 1 verse 17, "For he was NUMBERED WITH US and HAD OBTAINED PART OF THIS MINISTRY."
God was not thinking of adding him or planning to give him an apostolic destiny, no. God has already numbered him, and has given him his place in the ministry of the first ever Apostolic ministry. But the man lost it, and another man has to take it up, he lost his place in destiny by his own personal choice. We need to understand that though, God has already pre-planned our destiny for us, but for the God's given destiny to come to pass or not, depends on our choice making in life. If you make choices as led by the SPIRIT you will arrive safely in your place of destiny manifestation, but if you allow FLESH to move you in decision making, I guarantee you, you will lose the destiny. In Judas it was the love of money that was in his flesh, for Samson it was love for women, for Saul king of Israel it was love for praise of men. Galatians 5:19-21, says the works of the flesh are manifest (obvious, very clear) which are these......, check your own from the list there and deal with the work of the flesh before it deals with you. You will not lose your destiny in Jesus name.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will open your eyes to the things in your life that are destiny terminators, and gives you grace and wisdom to deal with them.
