Topic: NOW THAT YOU HAVE THE SON.
Bible Reading: John 3:16, Romans 8:32.
"He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?"
This is the season that we celebrate the death and the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. And it is important to understand its significant to our lives as people of God. Jesus said in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
What a risk, God took to safe us from sin and devil, I do think, what if no one believes in Jesus? Then, the death of Jesus would have been in vain. But thanks be to God, who still went ahead for human sake took the risk of giving His only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross at Calvary for the salvation of human kind, Halleluyah.
Now, that Jesus has died for us and we have believed in him, accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior. We have walked away from our sins and embraced new life in Christ. Now, in view of this, what else do you think you can need from the same God, that will be too much for him to give you. If God loved us and showed His love to us when we were yet sinners, how much more shall he loved us, now, that we have been made righteous. Rom.5:8. If he gave us His only son when we did not asked Him, now that you have been reconciled back to God, how much more shall he give you anything and everything that you ask in the name of Jesus.
The scriptures says, he that spared not his own son, but gave him up to come and die for us all, how shall he not also WITH HIM freely give us all things. This means that, haven the son is our access to have ALL THINGS FREELY. So, the criteria to get all things is that you can only get it when you have accepted the son as your saviour and Lord, and then, whatever you made request for in the name of the son will be granted. John 14:14, 15:7.
Let the understanding of God's love for us and his gift for us, gives you the boldness that anything you ask no matter how great or costly it may looks to you, God is more willing and able to give it to you. If He can give you His son and do not spared him, what again shall he not give you. Go ahead now by faith make demand on anything and God will give it to you freely, because Jesus has paid the ultimate price for everything you will ever need. Happy Easter to you from me.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will give you the revelation of the price that Jesus paid on the cross for your good life, receive the faith to take what is yours.
