Topic: WHAT IS THE DEVIL LOOKING FOR
Bible Reading: Mark 5:1-20, Luke 1:74-75.
Men wondered when they face challenges of life, sometimes the problem is spiritual, at times it is financial, marital, career or health, and we begin to think what exactly is the problem that makes me face all these challenges?
One will wonder what the Devil is looking for in the life of the man known as the madman of Gadarenes that makes thousands of demons to use his life has their habitation. The same thing that he is looking for in the life of many today, Devil is not just looking for your health, neither your finances, nor anything natural. What makes Devil attacks people's health, finance, marriage, career, business, is because of one thing you have, that is your purpose in life.
The reason for the Devil's attack against the life of the madman of Gadarenes is the purpose of God in the life of the man. That was why Jesus took it upon himself to come to Gadarenes to deliver and liberate that man from those demons so that he can fulfill his God's given purpose on the earth. After the deliverance of the man, he begged Jesus to allow him to follow, but Jesus refused the man's request, and told the man to go back home to his friends, relatives and neighbours and tell them what the Lord has done for him. The man after his deliverance carried the good news, became an Evangelist and with the gospel of Jesus he was able to cover ten cities in Decapolis.
The same is it about your life, that the reason why the Devil targets you with all those problems is because of your destiny and purpose are too precious and great. Therefore, you need to fight for your destiny and purpose from God. Many times a lot of people are just mindful of solving their problems, without even understanding why the Devil is attacking their lives, which they must protect. When men are mindful of solving their problems alone, God is mindful of you fulfilling your purpose on the earth.
When come to state that what matters to God is all that matter to you, that is the time you are ready to come out of your problems. Because God want to liberate you from your problems so that you can fulfill your God's given purpose. May the Lord helps you to cooperate with God to help you, that what matters to God matters to you.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will open your eyes to your purpose and destiny on the earth, so that as you come out of your problems you can enter into your God's given purpose in Jesus name
