BY THE LORD'S MERCY.

Topic:
BY THE LORD'S MERCY.

Bible Reading: Lamentation 3:21-32.

There are many things going in people's life, many has the rough beginning, that has led them to do things that produce horrible past, that if life will play back the record of their past the future will be very terrible. This is combine with situations of things going in the world today, that can lead to discouragement and downcast, the news around, the happenings around and many others things send fears and terror to the heart and veins of men.See the case of suicide multiplying daily, even among teenagers, then you wonder how can one get help in such a time like this.

This was the situation that Jeremiah found himself in his days, but he said in the midst of everything he found a way to encourage himself and hope for the glorious future, and that is trust in God's mercy and compassion. He said it is by the Lord's mercy we are not consumed, he was talking in relevant to the dealings of God with the Israelites, they did many things even when He brought them out of Egypt, that calls for their destructions but God still kept them by mercy.

In 2nd Corinthians 10:1-5, the scripture says, when God led them through the wilderness from Egypt, the kind of attitude and lifestyle they were showing, God was not pleased with many of them, yet, by mercy, God didn't destroy them he kept them.

That was why Jeremiah said, he will trust in God who shows mercies, if He could still help and provide for Israelites despite their lives, with all there errors He kept them alive. Then, what would have happened, and how much more good things God would have done for them by mercy, if they lived to please Him. I therefore, encourage you today, to put your trust in the mercies of God, and no matter what the case you are dealing with in life, the God of mercy will visit you with mercy and things will take a new turn for good in your life in Jesus name.

Prayer Points: Pray that God will show you mercy over things done in the past, and by mercy you recieved a new and a good life now and in future in Jesus name.
