Bible Reading: Proverb 18:10, Psalm 20:6-9. I choose to relate with us in this first full week of the year, on things God told us to hold onto is to experience a glorious year. And one of the things God told us to hold is the name of the Lord. The scripture says,
"The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous runs into it and they are saved. "
Now tower is the highest building build mostly on the city wall where the military stays in other to watch for the security of the city and takes the commanding position for the city movement. For example everyone knows in an Airport what a watchtower is and what is been used for. Now, God said let the name of the Lord be your strong dependable tower this year, that means your movement and activity should be connected to the name of the Lord.
Incase of any danger your first point of call should not be the government, security agency, relatives, friend, neighbor, but the Lord first. David said in Psalm 20:7, some trust in horses others chariots, he said but my first point of call is that he will remember the name of the Lord. And the result between them was that those who call on other things than God are falling down but he was risen up.
No matter what the Devil is planning again this year, never forget the name of the Lord. David lay hold on it while facing Goliath and he got victory over the giants. whatever the case may be, just hold onto the name of the Lord and your result will surprise men for good in 2021. Everything you do, get yourself connected with the name of the Lord, Psalm 118:26 says Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord. May you have a secured and a glorious year in Jesus name.
Prayer Point: That God will give you deeper revelations of the name of the Lord so you can totally put your trust in him.
