DAILY PRECEPTS DEVOTIONAL STUDY
Topic: DON'T OPEN THE DOOR OF YOUR LIFE TO THE DEVIL.
Bible Reading: Job 3:24-26.Thank God for the scriptures that helped us to know what happened to Job, we saw the spiritual reality behind his life predicaments. So we know the truth that for anything to happen to man in life, there is a spiritual reality. There are two forces ruling the life of a man on earth, God or Satan, Light or Darkness, Evil or Good, but everyone will have to determine which of these forces must rule and dominate your life, and that spirit will determine your natural life experience.
Note, that I said God or Satan not God and Satan. Because the two spirits can't work together in a man's life. One of them must be allowed to rule over you, though, God rules over all including the devil himself. But you determine who you want to submit your life to, to determine your experience in life.
At the beginning of Job's life he allowed God to rule and to determine his life experience as he lived in faith for a righteous living, and at that time things were positive in his life. Later he allowed Satan to rule and determine his life experience by start living in fear, Satan took over. He was the one who opened door for the spirit of fear vs.25.
Job said what I fear greatly has happened to me. Fear is the property of the devil. 2 Timothy 1:7 said "God has not given us the spirit of fear......." Yet Job said I was afraid, then where could Job have gotten the spirit of fear from? The devil gave him and Job collected it. Then, Satan went for Job and calamity happened to him, because Job allowed fear.
Therefore, don't have properties of the devil in your life, hence he will come for you and attack like he did against Job. Properties of the devil are fear, sins, and all other works of the flesh, you can read Galatians 5:19-21. Whatch out against those things stated in Galatians 5:19-21, and be sure you did not allow any of them so you won't give satan permission to enter your life to gain control over and torment your life.
Prayer Point: Pray that God open your eye to see any area you have been unknowingly giving permission to devil in your life, so you can correct it and shut the door against Satan in your life.
