DAILY PRECEPTS DEVOTIONAL STUDY
Topic: WHAT IS MOVING YOU?
Bible Reading: Hebrew 11:6-7.A move is an act of deciding to do something. Men are moved in life to do different things, moved to start a business, moved to attend church, moved to pray, moved to give, moved to marry etc. There are different kind of things that move men in life, but the main discussion is to help you discover, what is moving you?
Some make a move to relocate out of fear of a danger in a locality, fear moved. Others make a move because others are moving, may be he/she sees others going to do a busines, he/she also move to start thesame business, that's man moved. Some make a move to go to church, because it is normal to go to church on Sunday, some move to pray, because they feel it is natural to pray in the midst of crisis, those are circumstantial moves. These are few reasons why many moves does not yield any positive result.
But for Noah, the scripture said "BY FAITH NOAH, BEING WARNED OF GOD OF THINGS NOT YET SEEN, MOVED......"
And as a result of his move by faith, he condemned or passed judgement on the world. This means that, after God told Noah to build an ark for the salvation of his house, that He will destroy man and beast from the earth. Genesis 6:12-17. God could have reconsidered his decision and changed His mind from destroying man, but because Noah has moved in faith to build the ark as God commanded him, by that act of faith Noah passed judgement on the earth. That for God to change his mind from what He told Noah, could have meant that God lied to and deceived Noah. So by the move of faith from Noah God was forced to do what He has told Noah that He wants to do.
I want you to know that you should always let your move for anything in life, be based on what God has spoken by His word, when you move by faith in God's word, God has no option but to leave every other person and pitched His tent with a man who is moving in faith with Him. I pray that every move you make hence forth will be by faith and obedience to God, that will continue to yield positive results for you in Jesus name.
Prayer Points: Pray that God will open your eyes to the next move of your life, so that you can move in faith.
