Bible Reading: Mark 9:20-27, 2 Kings 5:8-14.
You're welcome into new month of February, the good Lord shall make your dreams fulfilled and prosper your journey this 2nd month of the year in Jesus name. As I was waiting on the Lord for what He would have for us this month? The Lord answered me, given me two questions from the scripture to communicate his message to me.
The first scripture says “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” vs.23
This was the question Jesus asked the man who brought his son to Jesus for deliverance from the spirit of deaf and dumb. The disciples have attempted casting the spirit but they couldn't before the man came to meet Jesus himself and beseech him to cast the spirit out, then Jesus asked him IF YOU CAN BELIEVE ALL THINGD ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM THAT BELIEVE. God is challenging you my reader now, to a new level, new things, new life, that if you can believe anything with God this month all things you believe God for shall become possible.
The second scripture says “And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?”
This was the question was for Naaman the warrior but a leper. He went to meet Elisah for the healing of his leprosy, and Elijah gave him instruction to go to River Jordan and wash there seven times, but Naaman got angry at that instruction of the man of God and decided to leave without carrying out the instruction. Then, one of the servants asked him, if the prophet ask you to do something greater than this to be clean wont you have done it? Because the servant was aware of how far his master has travelled and how much he has spent to be healed of his leprosy, which yielded no result, but now he is meeting a prophet who is giving him simple instruction, and you're angry.
This is the second thing God told me, that nothing good comes easy, a lot of people want glory to appear but they are not ready for any price. This month be ready to follow God on the ground of total and prompt obedience to instructions, not on the ground personal comfort and convenience. God will be demanding things from you, but if you're obedient, the result you get will far out weight the inconvenience you took to obey. So whatchout for your instructions this month, either directly from God or from the mouth of his anointed to you. Throw away your convenience, break your limit, and get into obedience with God to see great things happening for you this month. God does not ask you to do what is easy but what is possible. Then put your trust in God believe him for something great this month and God shall surprise you for good in Jesus name. Happy New Month.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will give you grace to cooperate with God bless you in total and prompt obedience with faith in Jesus name.
