The story of the woman in Luke 13, who was bent over and could not walk straight. Imagining all kinds of guess work that might have gone on the woman's condition medically. Medical personnel would have diagnosed her, and called her sickness all kinds of names and terminologies, or may be they couldn't have fund anything wrong with her medically. Because all that the eyes of medical diagnosis could see is in natural.
After the woman was spiritually diagnoses by Jesus, he laid hands on her and she was straighten out, that was when Luke the writer of the book could write confidently in verse 11, that the woman had the spirit of infirmity. There was no way he could have known except by another eyes.
There are many issues in life that people are dealing with in a natural way, when business has challenge they borrow money to sustain it from collapsing and get into more troubles. When sick they start going from one hospital to another while the sickness is getting worse. They refuse to seek God for help, they even do things offend God to get things solved. They go any length to hold thier marriage from collapsing but never consult God for help. All these and more are things people do naturally to solve problems because they lack spiritual eyes to differentiate between a problem that can be solved naturally and the one that can be solved spiritually.
The problem of this woman, was not by any means natural, but spiritual that resulted her condition that bent her over. But thank God for Jesus who through another eye, saw into the root of the woman's condition and helped her out by dealing with the spirit of infirmity. May you receive another eye, that will help you to see beyond the natural into the root of all the matters around you in Jesus name.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will open the eyes of your spirit to see beyond the natural into the spirit to know how to deal with matters concerning your life in Jeus name.
The people in her house could have given more explanation on her condition that she surfers backbone injury due a home accident or road accident she has in the past, because that's all thier eyes could see.
Scientist would have said her condition was due to lack of a particular hormone, and the nutritionists would have said that lack of proper nutritions caused her problem.
But the day she met Jesus her condition changed, because Jesus has another eye greater than the general natural eye to see into the root of her problem. In verse 12; the scriptures says,
"And when Jesus SAW her, he called her to him, and said unto her, woman, thou art loosed FROM THY INFIRMITY."

It is my counsel to you to pray that God would open your eyes to see life beyond the natural, especially concerning the matter you're dealing with. When you see with another eyes, this would change your approach to life, and will move you to take right steps in handling matters in your life, and you will get positive results. You need another eyes to see your problems, your friends, your neighbors, your business, co-workers, etc.
