Topic: GUARD YOUR HEART
Bible Reading: John 13:2, Proverb 4:22.
The DEVIL HAVING NOW PUT INTO THE HEART of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him;
One of the greatest part of the life of a child of God for positive living is the heart. Jesus said good things can come out of it, and bad things can come out of it either, depending on materials you allow into your heart. Solomon said you're exactly how and what you think, you can't be greater or smaller than your thinking. The size of your life is the size of your thinking and the quality of your life shows the quality of your thinking.
Jesus must die to save human kinds from devil's bundage of sin, and one of the disciples of Jesus must betray him. So Satan looking for who to use, then put strange thoughts in the heart of Judas Iscariot to betray Jesus. That means the thought that came to Judas that time, did not come to his heart ordinarily, it was demonically incited in his heart. The question is, why Judas out of all disciples? What are the things Judas was doing or not doing that opened up his heart to the Devil? When he followed what Satan put in his heart, the result was not palatable at all. Not all thoughts must you trivialized.
I come to admonish you today, to take responsibility of protecting your heart against Satanic invasion. Before anything manifest in your life, it would been in your heart since. Be it good things like holiness, purity, prosperity, blessings, favour, progress etc; and if it is sin, iniquity, poverty, sickness, depression etc. All of them are products of your heart, but your heart will produce in line with the materials you supply to it. That is why I bring it to you today to take care of your heart, lest Satan takes it over as he did for Judas. We shall take it further tomorrow study on how you can guard your heart. May you continue to enjoy positive result in life in Jesus name.
Prayer Point: Pray that God give grace for determination and wisdom to protect your heart.
