Topic: RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTS
Bible Reading: Prov. 14:35, Gen.25:22-23.
The problems of man started with sin, when Satan entered the garden of Eden and decieved Eve, and Adam agreed to yield to the deceptions of Satan through Eve, so they sinned against God and sin brought death. Death is the stopping point of anything good, that means death of prosperity is poverty, death of health is sickness, death of peace is trouble, death of success is failure etc. Since death was brought in by sin, if you want death to go, send sins away out of your life.
Therefore, if we can deal with sins in our nation, cities and family, then we can deal with Evil, and after that our nation and family will rise. That's why the scriptures said RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALT A NATION BUT SIN WILL BRING REPROACH.
But when scripture says 'a nation' it's just not talking of 150 million of people of Nigeria? No. But it's talking of you as an individual.
The Lord said unto Rebecah in Genesis 25:23-24, when she was having discomfort in her belly during pregnancy, then she decided to pray to God to enquire, and the Lord said, TWO NATIONS are in your womb. God didn't say two people, but two nations, so He is referring to each of the twins to be a nation. Therefore, for a nation or family to rise it starts with you as an individual. The Lord said through you all the nations of the earth shall be blessed.
A nation rises or collapse in the power of individual contributions. So what are you contributing to the progress or the down fall of your nation, city or family. What you contribute is what you will harvest from the nation. Make up your mind today to repent of your sins, make your way right with God, and start to contribute something positive to make your nation, family great wherever you are, may you position yourself for God to raise a nation He desire through you in Jesus name.
Prayer point: Pray for grace to pursue righteousness to make life worthwhile for yourself and others.
