Bible Reading: Genesis 13:14-15, Mark 8:21-24.
The scripture says where there is no vision people perish, this is to show how powerful vision is to life, the vision you see will determine what you can get from God in life. Vision is the picture of the future you can dream or see in your heart. And as you see it your life will be transported from where you're to where you have seen in your heart. There are things you need to understand as far vision for life is concerned.
1. VISION DETERMINE WHAT YOU GET - The Lord said to Abraham, "Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: FOR ALL THE LAND WHICH THOU SEEST, TO THEE WILL I GIVE IT, and to thy seed for ever. Gen.13:14-15.
The Lord said to Abraham what you will get in life, will not be determine by what my power can do, but by what you can see. So the more and greater your vision is the more you can accomplish in life, If you don't want to be small in life you must have a big vision. It is God that will give it but it you that must see it.
2. YOU REMAIN AT THE MERCY OF OTHERS WITHOUT VISION - The scripture said in "And he cometh to Bethsaida; and THEY BRING A BLIND MAN UNTO HIM, and besought him to touch him." Mk.8:21.
A blind man was a man without vision, he was brought to Jesus, because he can't come on his own, he remain at the mercy of people around him to get to Jesus because he was blind no vision. When you have no vision for your life, then, get ready to help those who have vision to fulfill there own.
After Jesus prayed for the man first time, he said I see, but I see men like trees walking. That's very dangerous, men don't have branches but tree does, then, trees don't walk but men does. Then Jesus touched him again and now he said I see clearly.
May you receive the second touch from Jesus so that you can see clearly.
Prayer Point: Pray that the Lord will open your eyes to see the vision of God for your future in Jesus name.
