WHAT YOU SEE, WRITE

THE PRECEPTS - Topic: WHAT YOU SEE, WRITE
Bible Reading: Habbakuk 2:1-3, Revelation 1:10-11.
This study might seems light, but is very very important to your spiritual growth. If you want God to regularly speaks to you, or give you revelations, and show you things, then you must develop this attitude in your spiritual work with God. The attitude is a lifestyle of writing things down. A lot of people goes to church and during message they watch the pastor like a movie star performer. Some will not open bible when is been quoted, while very many never go to church with a written material like pen and notebook. Others goes to church with written material but never write anything down through out the message, some write the title and bible reading and no more. But I want to say to you today biblically, that if you don't form the positive habit of writing divine informations down, God is not going to take you serious.
Going to our bible reading, Habbakuk has some issues to trash out with God, so he decided to take sometimes to pray, and in verse two of chapter two, after his prayer, he said the Lord answered me, and said, before I started showing you things, the first thing you must do is bring out your written material and WRITE the vision down. Imagine if there was nothing for him to write with there, he could have aborted the divine revelation. Also John found himself in the a Island of Patmos, and decided to make you of his persecution to seek the face of God for clarity on some revelations, in verses nine of chapter one, he said the Lord Jesus appeared to him and said WRITE what am about to show you, if he was not ready to write he could have aborted divine revelation. And imagine how it would have looked like if the book of Revelation is not in the bible. Imagine what would have happened if the bible was not written down, but it was crammed in the head of those prophets and the disciples, they all would have died with the revelation and our generation would have been in problem.
The reason why you seek God's face to have answer to questions of your life but you don't have it, is because of this bad habit of not writing down divine revelations, and until you start taking God serious, He is not going to take you serious. When you go to school you have different notebooks for different subjects, you must know that your spiritual life is much more important than that. And you must take the responsibility, I challenge you today to take yourself serious with God, write His informations to you down. Have different notebooks for different encounters of your life with God, has notebook for church messages, another one for your daily quiet time, another for your God's given dreams, another for your prophecies and promises, and see what different it will bring to your life. Never go to church again to watch, but go with the expectation that God will speak to you, and what He would say you are ready to write. They say; a fainted pen is still always better than the brightest brain. No matter how brilliant you are, you can remember everything, so therefore write, because what might likely forget might be the most critical part of the information. Jesus recommended it for Moses in Exodus 17:14, Jeremiah in chapter 30:2 of his book, Habbakuk in chapter 2:2, of his book, and John in Revelation 1:11 of his book, and Jesus is recommending the same for you too, WRITE.

Prayer Point: Pray that God will help you to form the positive habit that make your Christianity count in life. And God will help you to take yourself serious with God.
