THE PRECEPTS - Topic: RECEIVING YOUR THINGS IN THE SPIRIT.
Bible Reading: Luke 9:54-55, 1 Corinthians 2:9-14.
It is very important that we should understand spiritual reality, for us to operate properly on the earth. The scripture said God is Spirit. So you can only relate with God in a spiritual way. Two, Luke recorded that Jesus said you are not natural, you are a spirit, lives in the body and you have a soul. 1 Thessalonians 5:23. Thirdly, 1 Corithians shows us that every thing God will give you, can only be received, when you understand how to walk in the spirit very well.
Considering this truth it becomes very important for every one of us, to get our spirit developed to access what God has given us but are stored in the spirit. Satan having this understanding will do everything to weaken your spirit, so that he can limit believers, cheat them and hinder them from getting the best that God has prepared for them on the earth. Therefore, you must have spiritual practices on daily basis to relate with God. Practices like daily reading, confessions, and doing of God's word, daily fellowship in prayer with God, praying in tongues daily, daily use of faith, fellowshipping with other believers, and godly inspiring materials. All these makes your spirit to become very strong, and thereby able to possess what God has for you..
Prayer Point: Pray that you will grow in knowledge of God and take responsibility for your spiritual upliftment in Jesus name.
