THE PRECEPTS - Topic: HAVING THE LOINS OF TRUTH
Bible Reading: Ephesians 6:10-13.
The scriptural teaching on spiritual warfare, gave us the first armor as the Loins of Truth. This Loins of truth is very important to life in spiritual warfare if you are going to win in life. Truth and Facts are not the same. Fact is human view and stands on a matter, while Truth is God's view and stand on a matter. And God's stand are always different from human stand on every issue. Science, technology and other human experiences can only give you facts on a matter, but the Truth about anything in life could only be found from the directs words and acts of Jesus, or from the sayings of the scriptures. Jesus said I am the Truth. John 14:6. Also The Scriptures was called The Word of Truth. 1 Thess 2:13,2Tim.2:15. Therefore, if you want to win in spiritual warfare you must be very sound in the knowledge of the word of God.To operate truth in spiritual warfare, you must understand the two wings to the operation of truth,
First, TRUTH TO KNOW: John 8:32 says; "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free". One major sign that showed you know something is that your actions and behaviors are guided by it. The day you know that electricity can shock, you will never play with a nicked wire again.
Secondly, TRUTH TO SPEAK: Rom.9:1 Paul said; "I speak the truth in Christ, I lie not....." What Paul meant was that, whatever he says about things may be contrary to human point of view but as long as I speak what Christ and the word of God has said then am not lying, for in Christ I speak the truth.
Therefore, saying what God's word has said on a matter is the truth, though it may contradict general opinion. And putting truth to work in your life is one of the major ways to get victory over Satan. Jesus gave us a secret about the Devil in John 8:44, that Devil has been a murderer from the beginning and HE ABODE NOT IN TRUTH. Meaning an atmosphere of truth is not conducive for Satan, is too hot for him to enjoy nor tolerate. So if you want to get him running away or keep him away from anything, all you need is to keep the lights of truth on constantly over that thing.
As you go on in this new month, keep the light of truth on, over your spiritual life, your destiny, ministry, marriage, career, business, finances, health, etc. By doing this you can guarantee yourself a victorious life. Dig the word of God, search the scriptures, get the truth and not facts concerning matters of your life, then put the truth to work and see great changes positively. I pray you will enjoy a good life in this new month in Jesus name.
