THE PRECEPTS - Topic: LORD, THE PERFECT PEACE KEEPER
Bible Reading: Isaiah 26:1-3, Psalm 121:1-8.
As I woke up this morning around 3:00am, to pray and get ready for our morning meeting for 6:00am, Early Morning Encounter. This word came straight on my spirit for the people of God. I will keep them in perfect peace. Then I opened my bible to the place, and I read it over to myself and meditated on it. Then the Lord opened my heart to see into that word. It is a combination of two things.
1. The Lord will keep you. 2. He will keep you in perfect peace.
In Psalm 121:3-4, David in his experience said assuredly, that his foot will not be moved, and shall be preserved from all evil, because he that keeps him does not sleep nor slumber. Then the Holy Spirit showed me what that meant; An adage in Youruba, says; it is sleep that collect what a child refuse to drop. This is not even a child alone, it also applicable to adult too. When you are tired and you are feeling sleepy, you start struggling with whatever you hold in your hands for a while so that it will not falls down, but that will only be for a while, immediately you fall asleep that thing will have to drop. Or whatever you are keeping can only be safe from intruders as long as you refuse to sleep, but immediately you sleep those you don't want will have access to what you are keeping away from them. But thank God, when the Lord is your keeper, you can never by mistake fall down, and nothing wrong can have access to you, because He who keeps you never sleep nor slumber. No matter what goes around you can never fall down from his hand. Also, have you ever kept something precious when you don't need it in the immediate, and when you need it, you forgot where exactly you kept it. Am happy to tell you that, man is not your keeper, the Lord is your keeper, you can never be forgotten. In Isaiah 49:15 the Lord said, a sucking woman may forget her son, but He will never forget you. What a word to dance around about, the Lord is my keeper. But that is not the end of it, remember it was Isaiah 26:3 that led us to Psalm 121. The second side of it, is that, the Lord who is your keeper said, He will keep you in PERFECT PEACE, (Shalom, Shalom). Peace means nothing missing nothing broken, nothing damage.
I give you this word from the Lord today as you go this week and the rest of this year, the Lord will keep you in perfect peace. All you need to do is let your mind stay on him, keep meditating on his word, occupy your mind with kingdom thoughts, and keep your trust fast on Him. You will see the move of God over you do, in Jesus name.
Prayer Point: Pray to receive these promises by confessing them over your life daily this week. Perfect peace will be your experience in Jesus name.
