Topic: WHO ARE YOU IN HIS PRESENCE?
Bible Reading: Exodus 33:7-14.
There are different levels of people who are yearning to experience the presence of God in their lives. We have three different categories of these, and it is important that you have to know where you belong and where you would have to belong. In Exodus 33:7, God commanded Moses to take the Terbarnacle out of the camp and pitched it far away from the people, and that anyone who will experience the presence of God should go out of the camp to be alone with the Lord.
Therefore, it is important to know that you can't experience the presence of God and association of the people at the same time. After Moses pitched the Terbarnacle outside the camp, that was what differentiate the desire of people who want to carry His Presence, and put them in different categories.
First Category - Moses categories - These are people who carry in His presence with a deep fellowship contact with His person, they the mind, feelings and desires of God. vs.11-15. After Moses pitched the Terbarnacle outside the camp, he left the congregation to have a personal time in God's presence, and God came down for him, and spoke to him face to face. These people manifest the miraculous wonders of God, because they are really paying the price and any sacrifice to access His Presence and sustain it in their lives.
Second Category - Joshua Categories - These kind are still growing through the process, they carry a level the degree of His Presence but not at the level of Moses yet, they are the one God is working in to take the place of Moses because they are yielding themselves to God.
When Moses left the camp for the Terbarnacle to meet with the Lord, he left with him to the Terbarnacle, but he didn't see God face to face nor heard the voice of God, because he is still growing in the process on how to access and carry the presence of God. That was why he was the one that God raised to replace Moses after Moses's death, because he has been growing into the system. vs.11.
Third Category - Congregation categories - These are the people of God, born again, going to Church but are not ready for any difficult task, not ready to pay the price that will help them pressed into His Presence. These always and only come to meeting to enjoy the results of the lives of few men who have been to God's presence, they know the acts of God not His way.
When Moses left the camp to meet the Lord, the congregation of Israel saw him, and the cloud coming down, and they choose to worship the Lord from their tenth door, they are can't leave the comfort of their house, they love to stay in their comfort zone and worship the Lord from their. They people are satisfied with the enjoyment of the signs of His presence and glory.vs.10. They want someone else to carry His Presence for them, they only want to enjoy His Acts, they only want the presents (gift), that comes from His Presence. Their problem is that they are not ready to pay the price, to experience His Presence.
It is important to sincerely know who you are as far as the presence of God is concern and make your decision today to pay the price that helps you to carry the presence of God in your life. May His abiding presence go with you in this new month in Jesus name.
