Topic: HOW PRAYER WORKS.
Bible Reading: Jeremiah 33:2-3, Exodus 14:15-16.
If you need attention of an individual to do something for you, you put a call through to the person and he/she answer your call from the other end. At times we call but due to a particular barrier ,due to bad network, low of battery power, and any other reasons, there might be no answer. But am glad to let you know that there is a place of no network failure, no battery low, there is no un reachable there. Any time you call, you must receive answer except you didn't call. That you call there and there was no answer, the problem is never from there, the problem will always be from your end.
The second thing is that, whenever you call, whatever you want an attention for, there is always enough ability on his side to not only respond to you but he will also deal with the issue you need him for. The one I am talking about is the GOD ALMIGHTY. He says CALL TO ME, I WILL ANSWER YOU. The channel to call him is through prayer and I can guarantee you that to him there is no network failure.
Having said this, a lot got confused on how prayer works, after they prayed for financial supply, they are waiting for some angel to throw money in their room, so they kept praying but not seeing much answers. We need to understand that prayer on its own does not just automatically solved problems, but prayer will connect you to what to do to get the problem solved. Our passage for today says;
"Call unto me, and I will answer you, AND SHOW YOU..." When you pray, God respond by showing you what to do to have the miracle, if you will refuse to yield and you don't do what you need to do, then, you won't have the miracle you desired even though you have prayed.
When Moses cried to God by the Red Sea, God showed the rod to stretch over the water for it to pathways. Exd. 14:15-16.
When, the angel came visiting Cornelius in Acts 10, he said your prayers are answered, therefore, now send a man to Peter and he shall tell you what you need to do.
Is there anything you have taking to the Lord in prayer, I want to say your answer is here, just be sensitive and connect to what God want you to do to have your miracles. May you see what God is showing you for a tun around in your life in Jesus name.
Prayer Points: Pray that God will help you to be sensitive to divine steps you need to take for the miraculous to happen in your life in Jesus name.
