Topic: HOW TO CARRY GOD'S PRESENCE 1.
Bible Reading: Genesis 39:2-3, John 1:11-12.
Yesterday we learned that prosperity is a spirit first of all that attracts other good things of life. Prosperity is not measured by how much money you have, houses you have built, or cars you ride, even though prosperity will always bring all these with time. But to use earthly possessions to determine a prosperous person, then the scriptures would have been wrong to say a slave boy like Joseph was a prosperous man. That means there are more to this, but in our study we realised that Joseph used to have experience that anything put in his hands will always work, multiply or increase.
And that those things happened to Joseph because of a particular factor,
AND THE LORD WAS WITH HIM AND THE LORD MADE ALL HE DID TO PROSPER IN HIS HANDS.
So the spirit of prosperity with Joseph was rooted in God's presence with him. Then it is very important to know what to do to carry the presence of God always and permanently secure the spirit of prosperity.
And one of the things to do to carry God's presence is to become his son or daughter. This means you must be genuinely saved, be born again. The scripture say in John 1:12,
“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”
This means to carry God's presence you must become His child and he becomes your father, this happened by you believing in Jesus, because only by him can anyone be saved and have eternal life. Going to church without making Jesus ones savoir and Lord is a waste of time and life. When you receive him, then every other things becomes acceptable to God. But if you have not really surrendered your heart and life to Jesus, every other thing is nothing but mere religion, which God says is like a filthy rags before him. To carry God's presence it begins by genuinely salvation, by giving your heart to Jesus for total take over. When you do this, God take all that concerns you personal, then, nothing on this earth that the father will not be able to give you. Don't forget God is the creator of all of us on the earth but He is not the father of all of us. Because as many that believe in the name of Jesus He gave power to become God's sons or daughters.
