DAILY PRECEPTS DEVOTIONAL STUDY
Topic: HOW TO CARRY GODS PRESENCE - 2.
Bible Reading: John 8:28-29.
Since Monday we have been discussing matters on the spirit of prosperity but which is rooted in the presence of God with a person. For the Lord was with Joseph and He made all he did to prosper in his hands. But all Joseph experience were rooted in one secret, the Lord was with him. That makes it very important to know the things that attracts the presence of God. We discussed on the first point yesterday and which is to become God's son or daughter, by being born again.
The second thing that secure God's presence with a man is to do that which pleases God.
John 8:29 says, "And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him."
Jesus was able to secure the presence of the father, because he did that which was pleasing to the father. To please means to give delight, to give pleasure to, it also mean to be in line with the will of the father. So Jesus was able to secure the presence of the father because he remain in the will of God for his life. Therefore, for you to secure the presence of God, you need to remain solely in His will for your life. How do you know God's will for you? One, through the written word of God, the scriptures. Secondly through, the Holy Spirit in you, 1 John 2:27 says,
" But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.".
So the HolySpirit is the anointing in you, he is there to lead you, and which will always be inline with God's word, the Holy Spirit's leading and God's word never contradict each other. As you abide in his leading, you can permanently secure God's presence with you. May you carry his presence and manifest the spirit of prosperity forever in Jesus name.
Prayer Point: Pray for the spirit of obedience to God's instructions by His word and His Holy Spirit in you all your life in Jesus name.
