Bible Reading: Exodus 10:8-11, Acts 16:28-34.
We have been looking at Satanic Negotiation since the beginning of this week. Today we are looking at another negotiation of Satan over the lives of people so that you will not be a victim of it. And the one we examine today is the negotiation over the family.
“Go, serve the Lord your God! Who specifically are the ones that are going?”
Pharaoh asked Moses who are they that shall go to worship and serve the Lord? Let your wives and children stayed back in bondage, in sins and iniquity, but you men go and serve the Lord. Exd.10:8 & 10.
This is the operations of Satan where you see a member of the family knowing and loving the Lord while others does not want to have anything to do with the Lord. You see the father of the family going all the way for God, while his wife is so deep in worldliness, and sin, other time it is the wife that loves the Lord while the husband does care about anything spiritual. At times you see the son or daughter in a family serving the Lord with all his/her heart, while the parents complaining their child is taking it too far. That is the manifestation of satanic negotiation over that family. This exactly what Pharaoh said to Moses you men go but let your wives and children stay back in Egypt. So that no matter how far they can go in serving the Lord ones thier family is still in bondage of Egypt, they will come back to Pharaoh one day.
Satan's plan is that if he cannot stop you from accepting Jesus and following him well, then he will stop you from spreading it, especially among your family members. So they will remain in sin, carnality and be a hook to control your spiritual movement.
But it is important to know that God's plan is not only for you, but also your household. Acts16:31. Has you are saved God wants them save too and serving the Lord.
Therefore, rise up against every satanic negotiation and bind it over your family, that has not allowed them to yield to the Lord Jesus and serve him. And pray salvation into your family members, the devil shall not succeed in limiting the gospel to you alone in Jesus name. Your family, husband, wife and children shall serve the Lord in Jesus name.
Prayer Point: Bind every spirit that makes you procrastinate the salvation of your family member, and pray that they all be saved, light of Christ should shine on them in Jesus name.
