Topic: PATH OF LIFE
Bible Reading: Psalm 16:5-11, 17:4
Path is referred to as a way or track laid down for walking. Is also a route established line to travel or to access. So the scriptures shows us that life and death are available to men and the one you experience is not subject to circumstances alone, but the choices which is made unconsciously or consciously by the path men walked daily. Many people are unconsciously activating the negatives for themselves because of lack of understanding.
There are two paths to walk in, PATH OF LIFE and PATH OF DESTROYER. The path of life is found in the presence of God, and the path produces not just joy, but fullness of joy and can bring you to pleasures that has no end. The other path is the path of the destroyer. But God gave us secret on how to keep ourselves away from the path of the destroyer in Psalm 17:4;
"Concerning the works of men, BY THE WORD OF THY LIPS, I HAVE KEPT ME from the paths of the destroyer."
Now look at what it says, by the word of "thy lips", not word of "my lips", I have kept myself from the path of the destroyer. This means find out what God has said in his word about you, and put the same in your mouth in confession, then you can keep the spirit of destroyer far away from your life.
The secret is, it takes your mouth to separate yourself from the path of destroyer. What you say attracts life or death to you. Solomon said life and death are in the power of tongue, that is to tell you that power is on your tongue and it can pull to you or away from you whatever you desire. So the way you use your tongues determines the fruit its going to yield into your life, the direction you turn your tongue is the direction your life will go. Therefore, as you go in the rest of this year 2020 and beyond, use your mouth to your own advantage and not against yourself, use it to bring life to yourself spiritually, physically in your health, marriage, business, finance etc. Say what you desire to see and not the problems you are seeing. May you continue to walk in the path of life and not the path of death or destroyer in Jesus name.
Prayer Point: God will help you to take responsibility of your life in right confession that keeps your life away from the destroyer in Jesus name.
