Topic: DON'T LIMIT GOD.
Bible Reading: Psalm 78:37- 46.
God is unlimited in all His ways. His mercy and truth are unlimited, Psalm 100:5 says;5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
His righteousness is unlimited, 2 Corinthians 9:9 says, 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.
God is unlimited in his power, John 1:12 says "as many that received him to them he gave power" no mater their number because God is unlimited. His kingdom is unlimited Psalm 103:19 says His kingdom rules over all. I can go on and on, to tell about the unlimited characters and the power of God to do anything. But you should know that it is possible for man to limit the unlimited God in their lives.
The bible says that the Israelites limited the Holy one of Isreal. Psalm 78:41. How? Because they did not remember the works of God, they forgot God's testimonies of the past, the mighty acts He did with His hands to deliver them from the Egyptians, by His mighty hands he turned waters to blood, fought them with frogs, flies, and all kinds of plagues, He brought water from the rock for them to drink, rained bread from heaven for them to eat, and many other things. But they forgot all those miracles, they never cooperate with God, anytime they faced a new challenge, they approached it with unbelief, doubt, fear, and grumbling, so by that they limited the unlimited Holy One of Isreal.
The same thing goes to all of us today, how much chance are you giving to God to move in your case. Are you limiting the unlimited God on your case? There is nothing He can not do but what He will do on your case will be determined by what you give Him chance to do. Through your faith, your confidence and trust in God. Anytime you are facing a new challenge let His last miracle in your life boost your faith in Him, that He who did the last, will do it again. Remember what He did for the saints in the scriptures if God can do it for Abraham, Joseph, Esther, Daniel, Hannah, Widow of Zarephat, Woman with the issues of blood, Paul, Peter, the list is endless, He will do it for you.
Every challenge you face you can see your sample in the scripture, let the testimonies of those people in the word of God boost your faith, that God who did it for them, will do it for you too. In that way, you won't limit the unlimited One in your case. Your testimony will be the next one in Jesus name.
Prayer Points: Pray against spirit of doubt, fear, and forgetfulness of the acts of God at the face of challenges. And pray that God will baptize you with the spirit of faith.
