Topic: I AM WITH YOU.
Bible Reading: Matthew 14:22-27, Psalm 91:15-16.
The disciples of Jesus were in the boat on the sea going through terrible storm of the sea in the middle of the night, as they were in going through this, suddenly they saw figure of a man coming towards them walking on the sea and they became very frightened, thinking it was a ghost that was walking towards them, they thought the worst has happened and the end has come to them. But suddenly, they hear the voice of the master saying to them, DO NOT BE AFRAID, IT IS I.
Many times we see things going the direction we do not expect, and we think the worst is happening or going to happen. But in the midst of those situations, if you can listen well, you hear the voice of the master, saying to you, IT IS I, DO NOT BE AFRAID.
Whenever we go through the challenges of life, we do think also that we have been left alone in the midst of the challenge. But Jesus is saying to you that, he is with you there. Psalm 91:15 said, "I will be with you in trouble and I will deliver you". In Isaiah 43:1-2, the Lord said fear not, I will be with you, when you go through waters or fire. It is the deception of Satan to make you feel and think, that you are alone in that challenge, so that you will not put your trust in God to help you through, and you finally give up, and end up as a failure. The truth is that, you are not alone in your situations and challenges, I hear the Lord saying to you, don't be afraid, I am with you. God is not a lier, Jesus does not and will never deceive you, God is with you indeed, no matter what your experience may be presently. All it take is your trust in God, and He will make a way for you to escape.
Ones you have this understanding that Jesus is there with you in the midst of the situation you're going through, and you must be rest assure that Jesus will turn things around to your favour. So no matter the trouble you see outside you, know from inside you that Jesus is with you. The Lord is with you, all things will workout to your favour in Jesus name. Never forget, he is the master of the sea, whatever is troubling you now, Jesus is walking on top of it already.
Prayer point: Pray that God will always give you grace to carry the consciousness of God's presence with you all the times, and never to doubt it.
