Topic: HISTORY REPEAT ITSELF.
Bible Reading: Ecclesiastes 3:15, Genesis.16:1-2; 25:21; 30:1.
"That which is has already been, and that which will be has already been, for God seeks what has passed by [SO THAT HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF.]". Eccl.3:15(AMP)
One the things that many does not think to be necessary is to look after their history, especially in their family linkage. And that is why most time a lot of them repeated the mistakes that their ancestors has committed and their by the ancestory troubles catch up with them. If they have Sat down to study trends of events in marriage in their family, events in their finances, child birth events, and many more. They would have avoid the mistakes of their fathers and dealt with troubles and battles of their fathers.
For example father Abraham was delayed to have covenant child for 25years. After that Isaac was given birth to a covenant child. Then Isaac grew up only to repeat the same battle in his life time and he was delayed for 20years. And God gave Isaac twins in which one was Jacob a covenant child. And Jacob two repeated the same battle of delay in giving birth to a covenant child. And I believed the encounter of Jacob with the Angel put an end to the battle because he fought it finished with God when he engaged the Angel in battle at Sun set, if not Joseph or Judah would have experienced the same struggle.
Therefore, it's important to the personal survey into the incidents in your lineage, ask questions and let daddy and Mummy or anyone with the comprehensive history of your family, your town, your place of works, your areas etc tells You, what has been happening to them spiritually, financially, maritaly, academically, etc. So that you can pray strategic prayers, and live a conscious life to avoid attitudes and lifestyle that can make the battles of your fathers to catchup with you.
Don't forget the scriptures says; what has been now has happened before, and what is happening now is going to happen again, because HISTORY DO REPEAT ITSELF.
My prayers for you today is that you will not repeat negative history, in Jesus name.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will open your eyes to see wise the errors, mistakes and wrong attitudes you should avoid, so that you will not get yourself into the battles of your ancestors in Jesus name.
