Bible Reading: Mark 1:16-20, Acts 9:1-6. Mt many people today claim to be born again, even when the reality of salvation could not be seen in their lives. And the reason is that many have mistaken been religious to mean been spiritual, and unless you have true encounter with Jesus your spirituality will be nothing to write about. And with every indication on ground now, the coming of the master Jesus Christ is very much close, and only men who have encountered him genuinely will be able to stand what is coming next. Many believers today are following God only for what to get, and the things seems to delay a little they changed thier mind about Jesus whether he is true or not, if God exist or not. Men with genuine encounter with Jesus don’t see life that way, come rain come Sun, Jesus is the same. I will therefore like to share with you the signs or features of men With genuine encounter with Jesus. There are processes that a man who has encountered will follow.
1. What to become? – Every time Jesus met his disciples for the first time, he will tell them FOLLOW ME I WILL MAKE YOU TO BECOME. There is something God want you to become, many people comes to Jesus and they looking out for what to get, few looks out for what to do for him, while very little looks out for what to become. You need to understand today that your first point of encounter is what you become for Jesus. He wants a lier, fornicator, greed, proud, immoral etc to become a saint. When a man is admitted into force as a military, they don’t send him to war first rather they send him to barracks where he would recieved training to become what he needs to become.
2. What to do? – After you have become what God want you to become, then you can do what he wants you to do. When Paul had encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus in Acts 9:5-6. As he was on the floor, his first question to Jesus was WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO? Today Jesus is expecting the same from you, to ask him what he wants you to do, and not just be taken over by what you want to get.
3. What to get?– The last of all is what to get from Jesus, and why is he giving you what you want to get. Solomon asked for wisdom so he can do efficiently what God want him to do in Isreal as a king, and God decided to give him, even things he never asked for.
If your life will follow these other as you follow Jesus in a time like this, you faith in Christ will be highly protected, you will last with Jesus and get yourself ready for the rapture, and he will also marvellously blessed you.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will bring you into true and genuine encounter with Jesus for the manifestation of your destiny in Jesus name.
