Topic: KING IN A MANGER.
Bible Reading: Matthew 2:1-11.
When Jesus was born, the scriptures says he was born in a manger. Though, he is the king of kings and Lord of lords, he is the maker of everthing. The scripture in Colossians 1:16;
Christ himself is the Creator who made everything in heaven and earth, the things we can see and the things we can’t; the spirit world with its kings and kingdoms, its rulers and authorities; all were made by Christ for his own use and glory. (LB)
With all these yet he was born in a manger where sheep will use thier mouth to push the baby aside before they can eat grass. This means Jesus was born in a very humiliating manner, but the reality is that, that has no power over his destiny negatively. Even when he was in the manger, wise men from the east could see his start, that it was that of the king and they came to worship him.
The lesson I want you to learn today, is to know that no matter how low you start life, or whatever you have been through or going through now, that has no power to alter what God has destined you to be. Nothing can change what God has designed you for.
Job 8:7 says;
Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.
Therefore, do not loose your faith, courage and expectations because of what you see now, because there are still much more that God has in store for you as you move on in life. I pray that 2021 shall be a far glorious year for you in Jesus name.
Prayer Point: Pray that God will open your heart to see yourself the way God has made you.
