Bible Reading: Mark 11:22-24, Proverb 18:21.
As the year runs to the end, we need to understand that one of the power that it takes to make the year ahead what you desire it to be, the power is in our tongue.
"For verily I say unto you, That WHOSOEVER SHALL SAY unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things WHICH HE SAITH SHALL COME TO PASS; HE SHALL HAVE WHATSOEVER HE SAITH."
Do you see what Jesus said here, the emphasis of Jesus was not just on what you pray, but what you say. Many people have learned how to pray but they are yet to learn what to say. But Jesus says what you say is what you will have, if you do not doubt in your heart but you must believe in what you say, then you shall have what you say. Many times people of God go to pray but after the prayer they go on speaking negatively against what they have prayed over, so in that wise they cancelled what they have prayed over. So thier lives kept repeating a circle of no answered prayer life, and this is not the will of God for any of us.
The way God wants our lives to be is to pray and have our prayers answered. But one of the things you need to know is that never speak against what you have prayed. Keep your confessions straight in line with the promises of God to you and the word of God, then we shall we have testimonies in our lives. Therefore, do not speak in line with your feelings, or in line with what men are saying, but let it be in line with what God has spoken to you.
This is what I want you to carry with you as you enter the new year, speak in line with the promises of God to you, hold to the word of God in your life and keep it in your mouth as confession, and whatever you say that is what you shall have. I see 2021 becoming a year of greater achievement for you in Jesus name.
Prayer Points: Pray that God will give you grace to cooperate with God in your confessions being aligned with his promises to your life in Jesus name.
