Topic: PUT NO TRUST IN MAN.
Bible Reading: Jeremiah 17:5-8.
The word of God says a man that put his trust in man and make flesh his help, will depart automatically from God, and that man will not see when good things are coming. So his experience will be a cursed one, not because God cursed him but because he doesn't see good things coming. So he/she will regularly missed good things, and when a man miss good, then he must catch the evil. Think of a man who while looking for a greener pasture, left a job to a supposed good one, and soon as he left, a juicy post open up for him at his former place of work that he should have been the best candidate for. And soon has he join the new job he realized that there are internal crisis in the place he newly joined, and a little while after joining the new place the place crashed. That is the life of a man who does not trust in God but in man, he will not see when good cometh.
Putting trust in any man including trust in yourself, your brain, sense, counsel, strategy, skill, certificate and human calculation. No matter how brilliant you are, there are many things you can't know, it takes only God to reveal them to you, to show you how to make right decisions so as not to miss the good things coming to you, if a man miss the good, he will walk into evil. Lot could see the side of Sodom and Gomorrah it looks very good and well watered, but he can't see that God will soon destroy the land, years later it was cleared to him that he made a foolish decision by choosing the place, and everything he brought to that land, he lost them all. God led Abraham on what choice to make, it looked like a terrible choice that Abraham made at the time he walked opposite direction of Lot's choice, but later it was seen to be one of the best decision of his lifetime. I pray that you will not be blind to the good things coming to you in Jesus name, only put your total trust in God and He shall direct your part, to where He kept good things for you.
Prayer Points: Pray for grace to trust in God totally, and that your eyes will always open to the good things of life coming to you, in Jesus name
