Topic: GIVE US HELP.
Bible Reading: Psalm 108:10-13, 46:1-11, John 7:3.
"12 Give us help from trouble:
for vain is the help of man."To become a child of God, is not a sign that there won't be challenge in life. That the presence of God is there does not mean the absence of storm. But with the presence of God it is sure you shall always overcome all challenges. So God will always be there and give you help in time of trouble.
Psalm 46:1 showed us that in the midst of crisis God has made provisions for his own people not to be a victim in life, he makes way where there is no way, he send help to the helpless. But the help God is sending is connected to a river, and river has channel of streams flowing from it, and that river is bringing help to as many that need help in trouble.
Now it is important we need to know what the river is, so you can know how to tap into the help and the benefits the river holds for you. Jesus said in John 7:37-38,
"In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow RIVERS OF LIVING WATERS."
Then in verse 39 he explained further that the flowing rivers of the living water is the experience that will follow after men has received the gift of the Holy Ghost. So it's that ministry of the Holy Ghost that you need to connect to get the help you need in the midst of crisis to come to you.
That's why Jesus said he will send us a helper, so the Holy Spirit is your help sent from God, never live without him, always connect your life to him and your life shall be full of help. May you enjoy the ministry of the Holy Ghost in this new week in Jesus name.
Prayer Points: Pray that God will help you to recognize, be sensitive to and receive the help the Holy Spirit is bringing to you and for you in Jesus name.
