Bible Reading: Mark 6:1-6, Acts 10:38.
Jesus was with the anointing upon his life according to Acts 10:38,
"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him"
But he got to his home town in Nazareth and the scripture said he could not do many mighty miracles there, except that he laid hands on the few sick People, like headaches, cold, etc and heal them. But for the crippled or the blind eyes and the rest, he was unable to heal them.
Now notice in that scripture quoted from Mark6:5, the scripture said HE COULD NOT, not that he did not. That means as far as Jesus was concerned he so much desired to help his people with the anointing on his life to break the yokes of Devil on thier lives, but the anointing refused to flow.
What could have caused this? It is because they lack honour for Jesus, that spring up to unbelief. They did not recieved him as a prophet, instead they recieved him as a carpenter who disappeared months ago and suddenly reappear, so they lack faith in him. Though, they heard of great works he has done in other places but they couldn't believed him. They can't honour him as a Prophet, who can deliver them from the power of Satan, and because of lack of honour and unbelief, the anointing refused to flow to help them.
I want to counsel you today that for you to allow God to help you, by sending anointing for your help, and for that anointing to flow for you, you must honour the carrier of the anointing and believed him/her. I pray for you today that when you meet the anointing that God is sending to help you, may you position yourself correctly with honour to allow the anointing to flow for you in Jesus name.
Prayer Point: Bind spirit of pride that dishonor God's vessel and pray that God will give you the heart of humility to honour and position yourself correctly for anointing to flow for you.
