Bible Reading: Psalm 121:1-8.
The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
I remembered when we were small and use to play ball in our compound, and the number on ground to make a team is not enough to make a complete team, then we formed an incomplete team and we decided everyone should be player and put God at the goal post. I wonder where we got our ideology from that time, but if we understood what we were saying then, how glorious would live have been for us.
David walking in this understanding said the Lord is my keeper, protector, defender. He said, he shall protect from the harm of the sun and that of the moon. I don't know how or who can protect a person from these kind of harm. Remember in Psalm 91:5-6, David talks of terror by night (these are spirits moving by the moon at night), and arrow that flies by the day (these are forces moving by the sun). Only God can keeper a man from these forces. In Matthew 17:14-15, a man met Jesus and said help deliver my son for he is lunatic (moon struck AMP. Version says), the word Lunar talks about the moon.
Why am I saying this is to show you that the man who said to be lunatic or moon struck, confirmed that there are spirit that negatively attack men by move of the moon and the sun. That means without God there is no safe time to for man to move. But the Lord shall be your keeper, he shall protect and preserve you from all evil and preserve your going out and your coming in this week, this month, this year and for ever in Jesus name.
Prayer Point: Take Psalm 121:1-8, and make it your confession on daily basis in, I declare the Lord shall keep you from all evil and be your helper in Jesus name.
